System Requirements

  • Windows 10 or later (64-bit)

  • Minimum 2GB RAM

  • 500MB free disk space

  • Optional: Internet connection for cloud backups

Installation

  1. Download the EVRST Invoice installer from our website

  2. Run the installer as Administrator

  3. Follow the setup wizard - it takes about 2 minutes

  4. On first launch, you will be guided through a quick onboarding to set your company details

The wizard asks you three things worth understanding before you click through them:

  • License agreement - read and accept the terms to continue.

  • Install type - choose Server / Standalone or Client Only. Pick Server / Standalone for a single-PC setup, or for the one main PC that other tills will connect to. Pick Client Only for an extra cashier terminal that connects to a main PC you have already set up. If in doubt, you want Server / Standalone.

  • Port - the main PC runs a small background service on a network port (3000 by default). Leave it alone unless you know another program is using that port.

Installing an update over an existing copy is safe. Your data, settings, and license are left untouched, and you do not need to uninstall first.
If you change the port on the main PC after your cashier terminals are already set up, those terminals will stop finding the server until you point them at the new port. There is rarely a reason to change it.

First-Run Setup

When you launch EVRST for the first time:

  1. Enter your business name and details

  2. Set your primary country and currency

  3. Choose your tax configuration (if applicable)

  4. Set up your admin user account

That is it. You are ready to start.

The Interface at a Glance

EVRST divides into three main areas:

  • Left Sidebar - Navigate to different modules (Invoices, Quotations, Inventory, etc.)

  • Main Content Area - Where you work on invoices, view reports, manage data

  • Top Bar - Quick access to settings, user profile, search, and help

  • Notification Bell - Sits beside the Dashboard title and carries announcements from us: new releases, fixes, and offers. A red dot means something is unread.

Most actions follow the same pattern: List view with a green "Create New" button at the top. Click it, fill in the details, save.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to run EVRST Invoice?
