Design Studio: Customize Your Documents

Customize your invoices and receipts with a live preview.

Out of the box, EVRST prints professional invoices. But if you want to customize the look, add your logo, or change the layout, use Design Studio.

Accessing Design Studio

  1. Go to Settings > Design Studio

  2. Choose a tab: A4 Documents, Thermal Receipt, Barcode Labels, or Other Documents

  3. On the A4 tab, choose which document to customize (Invoice, Quotation, Delivery Note)

What You Can Customize

  • Logo and Header - Upload your business logo, set header text. Every logo toggle lives in Design Studio: per document on the A4 Documents tab, one shared toggle on Other Documents, and one on Thermal Receipt

  • Colors and Fonts - Match your brand

  • Fields Shown - Decide which customer details print (tax ID, phone, etc.)

  • Terms & Conditions - Add your standard payment terms or legal text

  • Receipt Format - For thermal printers, configure row width and font size

  • Signature Block - For formal quotes, add a signature line

Colours for Your Other Documents

Purchase invoices, vouchers, reports, customer statements, service tickets and payment receipts are internal paperwork, so they do not get the full designer. They do get a colour.

Open the Other Documents tab and pick a colour. Your choice applies to all six at once, changing the line under the header, the table headings, the section labels and the footer rule. The colour controls are the same ones on the A4 Documents tab, so there is nothing new to learn.

  • Classic leaves every document exactly as it came. This is the default, and it is how you undo a change you did not like.

  • Match Invoice follows whatever colours you set for your invoice on the A4 tab, so your internal paperwork tracks your branding automatically.

  • Or pick a colour: the same eight presets and the same Primary / Accent pickers you already use on the A4 Documents tab. Choosing any of them switches off Classic and Match Invoice.

Elegant Black uses the least colour, which is the safest choice on a black-and-white laser printer.

The same tab carries a single Show logo toggle for all six documents. It used to sit under Settings > Print & Paper, which no longer has a logo setting at all, and whatever you had set before is carried over automatically. Invoices, quotations and delivery notes keep their own logo toggle per document on the A4 Documents tab, and thermal receipts keep theirs on the Thermal Receipt tab.

Vouchers are colour-coded by type out of the box: red for payment, green for receipt, blue for journal, orange for expense. That is deliberate, so you can tell them apart in a pile on a desk. It stays on unless you switch Use type colours off, which folds vouchers into your chosen palette like everything else.

Colours that mean something are never changed by a palette. A discount still prints green, and a receipt still shows paid in green and outstanding in amber, whichever palette you pick.

Live Preview

Before you print, you see a live preview of what the document will look like. This takes the guesswork out of formatting.

Test print a sample on actual paper before committing to 500 copies. Thermal paper widths are tricky and small font sizes can become unreadable.

Frequently asked questions

What can I change on my invoices?

You can set your logo and header text, colors and fonts, which customer fields print such as tax ID and phone, your terms and conditions, thermal receipt row width and font size, and a signature block for formal quotes.

Can I see the document before printing it?

Yes. Design Studio shows a live preview of the document before you print, which removes the guesswork from formatting. Test print a sample on real paper before committing to a large batch.
